Starlink’s managing director, Nidal Othman, has commented that his company only works with industry leading security innovators, and our inclusion reflects the increasing importance of deception and decoy solutions as part of an adaptive defense strategy.

During the eight-country roadshow, we are hosting demonstrations that highlight how the Attivo BOTsink deception engagement servers and Attivo end-point deception suite protect against zero day, stolen credential, phishing, and ransomware attacks.
The Middle East is a highly dynamic region, characterized by steady economic growth. With that growth comes a burgeoning need for robust cyber security solutions. According to the Research and Markets’ recent report, the Middle East cyber security market is expected to grow at a rate of 22.5% during the period 2016-2022.
According to recent reports, the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) region has become the center point for cyber attacks due to the region’s strategic and economic significance.
Attivo customers recognize the need for detection in addition to prevention solutions to secure their critical IT infrastructure. The company’s comprehensive and advanced deception platform provides an efficient way to detect threats that have bypassed prevention systems by using deception as a way to attract attackers into engaging. The Attivo Deception Platform is capable of detecting all types of cyber threat vectors including reconnaissance, stolen credentials, phishing and ransomware attacks. Designed to detect intrusions inside user networks, data centers, cloud and SCADA environments, Attivo provides real-time alerts based on threat actor engagement to IT and security teams so they can promptly analyze an attack.
With more than 700 reported breaches taking place each year and with similar challenges faced in the Middle East, IT and security teams are in a continuous search for new solutions to stay one step ahead of cyber attackers. With our new partnership with Starlink, we look forward to bringing a new approach and capabilities to protect critical infrastructure.
