Attivo Networks CTO Tony Cole to Participate on Active Defense Panel at FS-ISAC Fall Summit
Attivo Networks, the award-winning leader in deception technology for cybersecurity defense, today announced that Chief Technology Officer Tony Cole will moderate a panel discussion at the FS-ISAC Fall Summit. The panel, titled “How Financial Services Institutions Can Counter Breaches by Moving to Active Defense,” will focus on why breaches happen, why 100% security doesn’t exist, and why investment trends currently point to an increased focus on detection and incident response. Attivo Networks will also participate in the exhibition showcase portion of the conference.

WHAT: The Financial Services – Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) Fall Summit focuses on the sharing of strategies on how to use technology, build a security strategy, train employees, and effectively prevent or respond to attacks and incidents. The summit brings together CEOs, CISOs, CTOs, and other high-level information security professionals to discuss both the present and future of the cybersecurity field.
The FS-ISAC panel will share insights into the value and effectiveness of an active defense strategy, and how this approach can help change the way financial institutions think about information security. Joining Cole on the panel will be Lance Spitzner, Director, SANS Security Awareness, and Patrick Gray, cybersecurity strategist and former FBI special agent.
