Title: Fighting the Good Fight and Beyond: When All Else Fails
This event is open to all information security professionals, please register on the link below.
The concept of the four critical controls in cyber security has been around for some time, and for good reason: they’re not just the foundation of a strong security posture, they’re the building blocks of everything that goes into a security program. The critical controls that an organization implements determines their strong and weak points, helps them better focus on broader, more advanced ways of minimizing risk, and shores up a security practice not just in the present, but for generations of SOC teams to come.
The problem with critical controls is two-fold, however:
– They’re not easy to implement
– They’re not fail proof…nothing is, so what to do when that weak point has been found?
Join Attivo Networks, the leader in Deception technologies, FBI & Infragard, to discuss the critical controls, how they’ve been successful, where they’ve failed, and how to ensure that you detect, deceive and defend when all else fails.
This informative discussion will be lead by Scott Augenbaum, Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Presentations by Mark Stanford of Attivo Networks and Special Agent Victor Rodriquez of FBI’s Cyber Crimes Task Force.
